The Violence Prevention Coalition of Orange County (VPCOC) was established in 1996. It remains the only countywide affiliation of businesses, community organizations, public and private agencies, and individuals promoting violence prevention through a public health approach in Orange County, California.

Why Violence Prevention?

Because violence impacts the quality of life for every Orange County resident.

Violence is the threatened or actual use of physical force or power against another person, against oneself, or against a group or community that either results in, or has a high likelihood of resulting in, injury, death, or deprivation
